What a lucky night!! I heard ten NA stations this night (Sept1st) on 160 and for the most part at sunrise:
WB5WPA(10w), W3PM(1w), K9AN(2w), K9PAW(1w), W9MDO(5w), K9YWO(1w), W8OZZ(10w), W8AC(5w), AA3GZ(100w), KW2Y(1w).
Curiously I was the only one to benefit of ALL the opening….. sorry to “pull the cover to me” hi hi

Nice event this night(July07): running 10w and then 5w, the S79V dxped has been heard in Europe between 22:16 and 23:10 by 11 stations on 160m wspr:

Thanks to team member Martin (A65DC) who planned this opportunity.

No waiting, no resting times on 160m during summer. Each night gives opportunities to heard NA stations.
This night (july04) five NA stations have been heard in Europe: K9PAW, K9YWO, W8AC, AA3GZ, N9LYE.
My RX Challenge score is now up to 6 for a new season: http://wsprnet.org/drupal/user/16564
A friendly greeting to David EA1FAQ as new "big 160 ears" in Europe.

Good luck all, 73, Patrick

I received this info from Martin A65DC and member of S79V:
Hi Patrick,
I will go with a few ham friends to the Seychelles and operate as S79V from 1st to 10th of July.
If you feel like you can check out our website http://www.a6dx.com for more information about our trip.

We will be running WSPR and other digital stuff on 160m in the nights from there, when the stations are not in use.
Please try to listen for us.

June 21, first day of summer. It’s the right time to sum-up my 2015-2016 Rx Challenge and my fifth seasons on 160m wspr.
This season was for the first time very extended and active giving my new record number of North American stations heard: 61 unique calls (previous 36).
Congrats to the eight stations running QRPp, to all usual stations of previous seasons and to George K9PAW my emblematic NA 160m station.

What a surprise in this beginning of May! 160m dx season is still open. Each night provides some few NA dx spots; this night (09May) KD6RF, K9PAW, W9MDO, W8AC were heard in Europe between 02:20z and 04:20z.
Usually we see a quick decline at the end of april of the daily spot count (below 2000). To compare to 08 May figure: 5853 spots.
That is a unique situation in last five 160m seasons. So let us take advantage of this extended time!!
