30 Meter prop conditions between WB3ANQ and Peter DL6NL in September

This is an observation based on a wspr signal reports!

Peter DL6NL runs a home brew wspr beacon with an output of 100
milliwatts on 30 meters. His antenna is an 80cm long MICROVERT.

I have received his signal every evening in the month of September on
my ground mounted vertical dipole!! Times of his reception were between 2000 and 0300 UTC.
His average signal to noise ratio SNR was -22.9

On a few occasions his SNR was -16 or -15 and last night one spot was
a strong -14!

The distance between Peter and I is 6584 KM or 4091 miles his heading
to me is 296'

As of Sept 27 I have received 335 wspr spots from DL6NL in the month
of September!

This is a good example of what can be accomplished with QRPp over a
4000 mile path on a daily basis! I suspect that as I check back over
the months past I will find similar results.

Congratulations to Peter DL6NL for an outstanding performance on 30 meters!!

Also to Joe Taylor k1jt for his fine program and Bruce Walker W1BW for
his master database which makes this info available for all to see!
