What the WSPRnet tells us about propagation?

I'll be strait: except on 30m and sometimes on 40m, not very much I would say...
I am attaching a few screen pictures, which talk by themselves... (I did not have Internet connection, so some time to play around)
If you want to know about propagation, especialy on the higher bands, you better use the usal means: IARU beacons, heard stations scanning the band, etc...
Unfortunately outside weekend the activity is generally very low on a band like 21Mhz, not to talk about 24Mhz. Beacons are sometimes "off the air" (this is the case at the moment with both ZL and VK beacons). So the solution is sometimes to call CQ (i.e. using JT65A, as shown below... )
The good news is that the bands are sometimes much better than the IONOSPHERIC models tell us, but if we want WSPRnet to become of any use as "propagation reporter", we need the activity to spread up a bit...

PS: Had to push those 2 guys to try 17m (still had my ADSL woiorking)... they seriously thought that we had no chance on 17m !
