Same call on 7 frequencies in same band

Last night I was seeing W2VID on up to 7 frequencies at the same time in the 40M band. On the waterfall display it looked like that signal may have been on even more than 7 frequencies at the same time that didn't decode.

All spots reported the same transmit power, but were received at various signal levels so I don't think he was intentionally sending multiple beacons at various power levels. Is this a glitch in W2VID's system causing audio harmonics or something like that? Would sending audio to the transmitter at too high of a level cause this?

I've only been running WSPR for a week and this is the first time I've seen something like this. It looks like others also decoded multiple signals on the same band - in both the 40 and 30 meter bands.

Thanks - Craig, N6IO
