DIMENSION 4 VS NTP TIME SYNC PROGRAM

As my luck would have it no sooner did I download and installed Dimension 4 to my laptop to synchronize the clock with Internet time servers, such as NIST or the U.S. Navy, for ham radio digital mode programs that I found a website recommending that digital ham radio operators remove Dimension 4 from their computers and use the NTP program. See G4ILO's Blog, Sunday, April 17, 2011, "TIME TO DITCH DIMENSION 4" at: http://blog.g4ilo.com/2011/04/time-to-ditch-dimension-4.html. Then see Network Time Protocol's website: http://support.ntp.org/bin/view/Main/WebHome. I found the link to the download page near the bottom: "Information for new NTP users." See http://support.ntp.org/bin/view/Main/SoftwareDownloads. That is where I found Current Versions of NTP where it presents a plethora of choices to download the time sync program. But none of these download links have the traditional .exe downloadable program that installs itself to your computer. Not that I could find, that is.

Finding the DOWNLOAD button for the NTP Time Sync Program is a job in itself. I can't find where or how to download their program. That webpage has a serious case of information overload. Too much expert information for a comparable simpleton like me to sift through to find the DOWNLOAD executable button.

Can someone tell me how to download the executable program?

BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE!

This from the Commentators of G4ILO's Blog, "TIME TO DITCH DIMENSION 4".

Hi Everybody! This is Heiko Gerstung from Meinberg, I am the maintainer of the NTP Installer for Windows which Julian mentioned in his post (thanks for that!). Since we are always interested to improve our installer, I would like to find out why it did not work for some of the commenters. We are not only providing the software for free, we also offer free support for it, so please let us know if you faced difficulties with the installation of NTP on your PC and if you are willing to provide debugging information (such as log files, software version information etc.). Our NTP support team can be reached at ntp-support@meinberg.de ! 73, Heiko
