1.7.0rc3 vs 1.6.1-devel decode test

I ran both versions of wsjt-x for about half an hour on 40m and I was surprised to see the newest version 1.7.0rc3 miss several decodes that were successfully decoded on my old version 1.6.1-devel.

The old version had 63 decodes, while the new version only decoded 58. Both were set at the deep decoding level.

Of the 15 decode cycles, there were 5 cycles where version 1.6.1 had one more decode than the new version 1.7.0.

The missed decodes by 1.7.0 were signals that were very close or overlapping other signals. (data below)

Is there some setting I'm not aware of that can fix this?
