30m Wasn't Running From the Night After All

Yesterday I worked WSPR (it worked, I slept) and I noticed that it was hugging the night trying to stay on the side of the light as the grey line moved, always trying to stay straight up the grey line and to the west, from my QTH up into Europe. But as the night went on, and I checked out what happened throughout the night, the propagation consistently stayed west, into Europe and then as far away as the Eastern Sea Board of the USA, but in the entire 10 or 11 hours that I ran WSPR on 30m last night, only 3 signals went out to the east, one to Japan, one to India, and one somewhere else... curious why it seems to only want to radiate Westwardly, since I did not notice such a tendency the night before when running on 40m all night... I will be interested to see what happens over the next few cycles that I work 30m...
