SDR Receiver for WSPR - thoughts?

Hello,

I've been using various 'rice box' transceivers for WSPR work for many years, but now I'm concentrating on reception.

Consequently, I'm looking at the various, relatively cheap SDR receivers available. Ideally, I'd like the SDR to have as low a power consumption as possible, due to occasional portable use with a Raspberry Pi. But the primary qualification is sensitivity.

I wonder if those experienced with SDR receivers for WSPR might like to comment on which of the offerings has good sensitivity for this work? Do SDRs tend to out-receive rice box transceivers at the entry level, or not? Reason for that is the balance of costs.

My area is quiet rural. Cost is a consideration.

J.
