So running WSPR has shown my signal being received by stations some being up to 8,000 km away. Yet when I switch to FT8, I don’t seem to be able to make DX contacts. Even though I hear a DX station and respond to the CQ, still can’t make the contact. I know propagation can be funny during this sunspot cycle, just wondering why Stations can “hear” me all over on WSPR but not through FT8?
From the midwest US , for example, according to the map I was heard by Antarctica.
I welcome your comments
Thanks
