ranking methodology questions

How exciting to be third in 15m. Obviously the standards are low in 15m. hahah.

Four questions:
(1) does this third place ranking simply mean that there are two other sites that had more than 10 reports starting from the first of the month?
(2) my total ranking is 47. Is that based on a weighted average of all the bands that had non-zero reports? or some other methodology?
(3) If I sent zero spots on a band that I was lower ranked (say like 20m where I am 77th) would my total ranking improve? In other words, if I drop out of poor performing bands, will my aggregate ranking of 47th improve? Or is more reports, on any band, more better for the aggregate ranking?
(4) It seems the only way to be really competitive is be "on" from the first minutes of the first day of the month. Any day not "on" would lower your ranking, true?

Thanks for any help understanding the ranking process!!
