I do my wspr listening on the highest frequency that is active at any given point in time. So...occasionally I see quite a bit of FT8 on 6M, however I hardly ever see any wspr stations. I wonder why? I am thinking many of the wspr xmtrs are homebrew and once you get above 28Mhz it gets a little more difficult to make and expensive to buy the transistors etc to make a homebrew transmitter. Is that the reason?
At the moment all the bands above 17M seem pretty dead but 6M has become hot periodically evidenced by the ft8 activity.
